Mike’s responsibilities at Strahm Building Solutions consist of material and labor cost estimating, project management, and marketing efforts. With over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, he has learned what it takes to provide customers with the most cost effective, quality solutions.
Born and raised in Fort Wayne, he graduated high school and went to Santa Barbara City College where he received his Associate’s Degree in marine diving technology. He gained experience in construction as a laborer/carpenter apprentice at Weigand Co during high school and college. After college, he continued his career in the construction industry doing offshore construction at Ocean Systems Diving Co for 2 years. He then moved on to Portland, OR where he worked for Peter Kewitt Construction Co for a year. After this, he began working at Strahm Group, Inc. as a project estimator and manager. He worked for Strahm Group, Inc. for 27 years.
When he isn’t in the office, Mike enjoys spending time with family, reading novels, and playing golf.
At Strahm Building Solutions with the position of COO, Senior Project Manager and Estimator, Scott is responsible for our large bid and public works projects, and also handles direct sales for interior design, construction, furniture and maintenance for many of our customers.
Born and raised in Ohio, he now calls Fort Wayne home after moving here in 1992 to work and raise his family. After graduating high school, he went on to receive a degree in engineering at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He then worked through Carpenter’s Apprenticeship and became a Union Carpenter at Strahm. Now he is responsible for bidding and managing some of Strahm Building Solutions’ largest projects.
When he isn’t in the office, Scott enjoys his free time with friends and family. He and his wife, Jackie, stay busy with their three kids, Alex, Natalie and Benjamin, who are involved in swimming, basketball, football and soccer.
At Strahm Building Solutions, Tracey is responsible for estimating and managing projects. The projects she primarily estimates and manages are flooring scopes. She has assisted other members of our sales staff with several large projects where she contributes her flooring expertise.
When it comes to her hometown, she considers both Fort Wayne and Payne, OH her home. After graduating high school, she went on to attend IPFW where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Purdue University. Her engineering career began right after college when she started working at Zollner Pistons in the facilities department. After 5 years there, she moved on to work at Strahm Group, Inc. where she estimated projects for 18 years.
When she isn’t in the office, Tracey loves to spend time with her family, play softball, watch her son’s college track meets, volunteer and work in the yard/garden.
Jeffrey A. Buck
Jeff’s primary responsibilities at Strahm Building Solutions are sales, estimating projects, purchasing materials and project managing. He works with his customers through every step of the construction process to ensure that everything meets the Strahm Building Solutions standards.
Originally from Muncie, IN, he has lived in Fort Wayne since 1987. After graduating high school, he went on to Ball State University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and management. He has gained several years of experience in the construction industry. These years of experience began when he was a floorcovering installer, crew supervisor and business owner. He then began his career at Strahm Group, Inc. where he worked as a project estimator and manager for 25 years.
When he isn’t in the office, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family at their lake cottage.
Sam’s responsibilities at Strahm Building Solutions include estimating projects, project management, product selection and providing cost effective long-term solutions for our clients. As a shareholder of the company, he is proud to wear many different hats on any given day, but his primary focus is working with our customers.
Born and raised in New Haven, IN, he started in the construction industry at an early age. When he was in high school, he began working at Strahm Group, Inc. where he learned a variety of skills out in the field while working for experienced tradesman. After receiving a business degree from IPFW, he continued at Strahm Group and moved into an estimator and project manager position. With over 20 years of construction experience, he continues to focus on providing customers with the very best services that Strahm Building Solutions has to offer.
When he isn’t in the office, Sam and his wife enjoy entertaining and dining out with family and friends.
Lindsay’s position at Strahm Building Solutions consists of meeting with product representatives, drawing floor plans and elevations, space planning, creating color schemes, presenting layout and/or finish solutions and meeting with clients throughout their project. For Lindsay, interior design is as much about functionality as it is about aesthetics.
She was born and raised in Fort Wayne. After graduating high school in 2008, she stayed in Fort Wayne to attend IPFW where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. Lindsay had the opportunity to intern at Strahm while at IPFW and she began working full time at Strahm Building Solutions right after graduating from IPFW.
When she isn’t in the office, Lindsay loves to relax outside in the summer with friends or enjoy a good book. She is an active member of the International Interior Designers Association (IIDA) in Fort Wayne and will be serving as the Indiana chapter president from 2016-2017. Lindsay is also a member of the Interior Design Coalition of Indiana (IDCI).
Sarah’s responsibilities, at Strahm Building Solutions, are to promote and maintain the company brand both within the company and out in the community. She is in charge of all things marketing, such as the website, taking photos of projects, graphic design elements, blogs, social media and event planning.
She grew up in Elwood, IN and then moved to Muncie, after graduating high school, to attend Ball State University. Once she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations in 2011, she moved to Fort Wayne and began working for Strahm Building Solutions as the Marketing Coordinator.
When she isn’t in the office, Sarah loves spending quality time with her husband and their dogs, Shelby and Boone, as well as with friends and family. She is also an active member of the Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana and currently sits on the Board of Directors in the Secretary position.
Julie’s responsibilities at Strahm Building Solutions include assisting our estimators with their job setups, paperwork and billings. She also does some miscellaneous tasks for the Accounting Department.
Born and raised in Decatur, IN, she started her career at Interior Products Supply as a credit manager and then as part of the sales staff. She began working at Strahm Group, Inc. in 2000 and has been part of the Strahm family ever since.
When she isn’t in the office, Julie loves to do some reading and spend time with her grandsons.
At Strahm Building Solutions, Kim’s position as Accounting Manager consists of all the general accounting, including payroll, A/R, A/P, Asset and G/L. She also oversees the taxes, assists with Human Resource administration, Union administration and managing the Accounting Staff.
Born and raised in Decatur, IN, she earned her Associates Degree from the International Business College. Shortly after earning her degree she began working in Accounting at Strahm Group, Inc. 25 years later, she has worked her way up to overseeing the entire Accounting Department for Strahm Building Solutions.
When she isn’t in the office, Kim loves to take road trips anywhere and everywhere. She is all about exploring new places.
At Strahm Building Solutions, Anita works with the rest of our Accounting Department by assisting with payroll, monthly closings and billings.
Born and raised right here in Fort Wayne, IN, Anita attended and graduated from International Business College with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Since graduating from college, she has worked in Accounting for over 10 years as well as other fields such as Manufacturing.
When she isn’t in the office, one thing Anita enjoys doing is decorating for small weddings, bridal showers, birthday parties and baby showers.
